The Owen Family Home Construction Project

This family home construction project began about a year ago after this British expat and his Filipina wife bought a lot in Valencia through our PhilX Group sister company, PhilX Real Estate. The lot is located down a small lane just outside the town proper of Valencia, Negros Oriental which has an area of approximately 500 square meters. The clients were looking for a spacious 3 bedroom bungalow with a traditional Filipino-American style. Our design team hit it just right , the pricing was within the clients budget, and we mobilized back around January of 2020.

We got a start but soon ran into problems with the Covid 19 pandemic, lock-downs and supply chain issues. We struggled through this in the months of Marc, April and May, and though we were behind schedule, did keep some forward momentum.

Currently, we have just got the roof on, the ceiling boards installed and the base coat of paint on the walls. Over the coming week, we hope we will be able to finish the painting, then will immediately start on the main floor tiling. With luck, we will be ready to turn over this home construction project around the end of September.
